Zuffenhausen - heart and home

The heart of Porsche continues to beat in Zuffenhausen. This is where it all began. This is where the series production of the first Porsche production model started. And this is where even today our Sports Cars and all Porsche engines are built. What makes this special: our standard-production vehicles are produced on the same production line as the racing versions, making us unique in the entire automotive industry.

Other departments located here in addition to Production include Quality Management and Logistics.

The management team is also based here, making this location the core of the company. And it continues to develop, grow and be transformed, as can be seen, for example, in the new environmentally friendly paint shop. With this paint shop, Porsche unites economy and ecology, creates jobs at the cutting edge of technology and invigorates this world-famous location for the long term.

Weissach - Strictly confidential

The Porsche Research & Development Centre has been located in Weissach since 1971. Around 6,500 employees work here. The result: 7,000 patents worldwide. Every year, 400 new patents are registered.

Design offices, test stands, workshops and our motorsport department are all close together. The short distances at the site allow easy and direct exchange between the individual development departments. The result is a tightly linked and coordinated development process, from the first sketch to the finished standard-production vehicle.

The Porsche Research & Development Centre will continue to grow in the coming years. The site is being expanded and modernised to include an ultra-modern design studio, a high-tech wind tunnel and an electronics integration centre. Work on the expansion began in 2011. Porsche is investing around € 150 million in the site. The work is expected to be concluded by 2014.

Ludwigsburg - Listening to our customers

Ludwigsburg is still characterized by its international orientation. Currently, this site is the home of our After Sales experts.

Leipzig - one of the most modern factories in the world

Since 2002, Porsche has found its second home in Sachsen, a state famous for its automotive industry. Over 4,000 employees currently work at Porsche in Leipzig. And the success story continues: for the complete manufacture of the Panamera, in 2016 the factory was refurbished for the fourth time and the workforce was expanded once again.

Alongside the Panamera and Macan models, one thing in particular is produced in Leipzig: emotions. The Customer Centre welcomes more than 40,000 guests per year. The performance of a Porsche can be experienced by those collecting their Porsche at the factory, event guests and visitors on the 3.7-km long FIA-certified Porsche racetrack and the off-road track, which also belongs to the factory.

At Porsche in Leipzig, a unique world of experience meets one of the most state-of-the-art automobile production sites in the world.

Sachsenheim - Sought and found

The main parts warehouse is located in Sachsenheim. More than 650 Porsche dealers around the world are supplied with spare parts from here.

Its location, just 25 kilometres from the main plant in Zuffenhausen, allows Porsche to bundle its spare parts logistics. Storage, handling and function areas were set up that are specially configured for the spare parts business on the 260,000 m2 property. This gives Porsche many advantages. Including shorter throughput times for orders and reduced costs.

Around 85,000 different Porsche parts are available at all times.

Bietigheim-Bissingen - From finance to consulting

Porsche is much more than "just" an exclusive Sports Car manufacturer. Nowhere is this more evident than in our service location in Bietigheim-Bissingen.

Most of the German subsidiaries of Porsche are located here: Porsche Consulting GmbH, Porsche Financial Services GmbH, Porsche Deutschland GmbH and Porsche Lifestyle GmbH & Co. KG.

Porsche Engineering Services GmbH, which is part of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH, is also located here.

Compliance

Porsche is the most successful manufacturer of exclusive sports cars and has an outstanding reputation. This success is based on the desirability of the vehicles, but equally importantly, due to its unique corporate culture that is shaped by integrity and compliance. And it should stay that way. All board members, members of the management bodies, managers and employees make their own contributions every day according to the motto:
Sporty and fair - that's typical Porsche.
